“Cathy and I  have been fortunate to be called to go to Nicaragua as an outreach from this church for the last nine years. In so many ways, this has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives!”

-Joey Latham, member of pfumc

The Bible, our tradition, and our experiences teach us that serving others is vital to the health of our faith. We want you to experience the fullness of the Gospel in your life. Our goal is to provide varying opportunities so that everyone is engaged in life-giving service that is transforming our community, country, and world. Local

We believe God is calling us to be in ministry with people who are facing hardships right here in Prattville, There are people in our community living in food insecure homes, dilapidated living conditions, and poor mental and physical health. Our local missions seek to meet each of these needs.

Regional & National

We serve those beyond our community as well. Our church engages in one-day to three-day projects within the River Region, state and southeast. Through these missions we are expanding our reach to children in hospitals and group homes, the imprisoned, people affected by natural disasters, and people living in impoverished regions of rural Alabama, Kentucky and North Carolina

Global

There are no borders when serving and working with our brothers and sisters in Christ to help those who are lacking basic human needs. Through our partnerships in Nicaragua, the United Methodist Committee on Relief, and Stop Hunger Now, we strive to provide families and children with a home, clean water to drink and food to eat.
